As most of you know, in 2007, our organic blueberry u-pick fields were picked clean by mid July. Due to the great demand of Blue Tara organic blueberries, we are planning to open several more fields for picking. If you read "our story" you know that Blue Tara farm consists of 10 separate blueberry fields. Some of these fields that are not visited often can become easily overgrown with "privet", a native plant that grows fast and roots tightly in the blueberry bushes. A less used field can also become the host of giant wild blackberry vines with mega thorns, deep holes dug by critters, and weeds so thick it will choke any bush hog.

In order to accommodate the demand for the 2008 fresh u-pick blueberry season, this is just a sample of what the family of Blue Tara Organic Blueberry P-Y-O is doing to get ready for you!
